Aaron is a sweetheart. He likes to make a funny angry face and talk with his little angry voice to make you think he's tough, but don't be fooled. He can just as easily turn on his squeaky, falsetto prayer voice and offer a tender bedtime prayer.
After we talked about what happened today and what he might like to say in his bedtime prayer, Aaron proceeded without any help.
A: Heav' Father, Thank you for mine mommy. Thank you for mine daddy. Thank you for mine Iyak. Thank you for mine treats. Thank you for mine balls. Thank you for mine books. Jesus Christ, Amen.
It was quite tender.
And since this post is his own little spotlight . . .
While driving home the other night Aaron was pretending his bubba was a net or pond or something. He said several times that he got a fish before letting his imagination expand a bit.
A: I got shark! I eat shark. Haum, haum, haum. It is yucky . . . blech!
